about

Dedo Negro, a conscientious proposal of
instrumental tango
As a novelty from Córdoba, and with national projection, the group is presenting their first
homonymous album around these days and as a coincidence they will perform a show tonight in
"Cocina de Culturas" in our city
It is an instrumental quartet of guitars composed of two people from Córdoba and two co-locals,
which has been on the road for three years. As a corollary to this first stage of diffusion and
approach to a mass audience. It releases a compilation that travels through unforgettable melodies
of the popular Argentine songbook of composers like Carlos Aguirre, Astor Piazzolla, Lito Vitale,
Roberto Grela, Anselmo Aieta or Juan de Dios Filiberto. Something like a disc of indispensable tango
and folklore, interpreted with such quality and warmth that makes the difference.
Something like a disc of indispensable tango and folklore, interpreted by a quality and warmth that
make the difference.
The disc is full of more than well-known songs like "Libertango", "Quejas de bandoneón", "La muerte del angel", "Morena" or "Milonga gris" (perhaps the complaint is that they are only nine).
The first challenge was showing that even though they play what dozens of other artists have
already played and sung, is widely surpassed, when we hear the artists behind each instrument,
who denote their vast experience.
Martín López, Cristian Nuñez (Rio Grande), Juampi Noriega and Daniel Soria (Concordia) make up
Dedo Negro and although their peculiarities when interpreting their instruments are revealed in
small details, main and secondary voices of the musical plot or in the different shades, the song as
a whole is always the star that ends up shining.
Dedo Negro is much more than the sum of its parts. They are four guitars that share the score by
playing with the melody and showing that a new arrangement well done can (re) invent the magic
of the known. (www.Babilonialiteraria.com 10 May 2018)

(www.Babilonialiteraria.com 10 May 2018)

Dedo Negro Córdoba, Argentina

Dedo Negro is a quartet of guitars that transits different genres of the Argentine music with its own
aesthetic and without detachment of national roots.
Composed by Martín López, Daniel Soria, Cristian Nuñez and Juampi Noriega, this instrumental
gathering is highlighted by a particular sound built from the individual flight of four guitarists of
different influences.
